Meet the Artist!

Marlie Engel Traver is the owner and artist of Marlie Bakes Cakes. Marlie has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing & Business and is also a graduate of the French Culinary Institute's Pastry Program in NYC. She has spent the last 20 years working in many different facets of the food industry, from marketing & public relations to professional bakeries and food retail.

Marlie is a passionate baker and all around sweets lover with years of experience in creating delicious and beautiful cakes for all occasions.

In addition to creating cakes, Marlie loves spending time with her family - especially teaching her two young kiddos how to bake and create!
